The CarLoft Concept
Built-in CarLifts allow hotel guests at the b'mine hotel to park directly in front of a CarLoft. The vehicles are parked on CarLoggias equipped with wall boxes for electric vehicles. A car lift leads up to the event area on the upper floors and enables product presentations with heavy loads of up to 4 tonnes.
CarLoft GmbH Berlin has patented this pioneering technology. It grants licences to building owners and project developers who wish to implement tailor-made CarLift solutions - for new buildings and existing properties. CarLoft GmbH also procures and coordinates specialist engineers and companies and supplies the complete software and hardware. This unusual residential park concept has already been successfully implemented in cities such as Berlin, Düsseldorf and Karlsruhe.
The invention is based on a lift that transports vehicles or other heavy loads to parking spaces that are always on the same level as the associated 'usage unit' in a multi-storey building. In other words, a living space, an office or a suite, as well as usable space as in the b'mine hotels.
The Munich Patent Office has confirmed the novelty, inventive step and industrial applicability of the CarLoft concept. The patent application has been filed internationally:
